The DVDirect creates a DVD Menu on an SD (Standard Definition) disc and a slideshow disc.
The DVD Menu is displayed each time a disc is inserted into a player and can be used to select
videos from dates or thumbnails.
According to the type of disc being created and the device connection used for recording, disc
configuration varies, and there may be some restrictions. See the following.
Configuration of SD (Standard Definition) discs
(DV IN or VIDEO IN connector)
The DVD Menu displays thumbnails of the titles created between the points where you start
and stop recording on the DVDirect.
For each title, chapters are automatically created according to the [Auto Chapter] setting
configured in the Setup Menu (page 67).
Configuration of SD (Standard Definition) discs
(USB port or “Memory Stick Duo” slot)
The DVD Menu displays thumbnails of the titles created at points in the video where the
shooting date changes.
