CONTROL PANEL OPERATIONS
The control panel buttons can be pressed individually to perform the
operations indicated by their names. Other functions can be achieved by
holding these buttons down when you turn the printer’s power on, or by
pressing the control panel buttons in combination.
This chapter explains all the button and indicator functions.
l Pause printing
l Feed paper (fast and slow, forward and reverse)
l Park fanfold forms
l Set the top-of-form position
l Select the print pitch
l Select a font
l Print test patterns
l Prevent software from changing the panel pitch and font selections
l Print a hexadecimal dump
l Clear the printer’s buffer
l Change the print color
l Store macro definition
BUTTONS AND INDICATORS
The printer is equipped with six buttons on the control panel. From left to
right they are -1, m[ and 11 (smaller buttons), and
m, ( PAPER FEED 1 and 1 ON LINE 1 (larger buttons).
