Chapter 5: Chassis Setup and Maintenance
The 2.5" hard drives are mounted in the drive carrier to simplify their installation
and removal from the chassis. These carriers also help promote proper airow for
the drive bays.

Installing a 2.5" Drive into the Hard Drive Carrier
1. Remove the two screws holding the drive to the carrier.
2. Remove the drive from the carrier.
Warning: Except for short periods of time while swapping hard drives, do not oper-
ate the server with the hard drives bays empty.
