1.7 DVD-R/-RW
The DVD-R/-RW drive accepts 12-cm (4.72-inch) and 8-cm (3.15-inch) discs. At maximum, the
drive can play back a DVD at 8x speed, read CD-ROM at 24x speed, and write CD-R at 16x
speed and CD-RW at 4x speed and High speed CD-RW at 8x and DVD-R at 2x and DVD-RW
at 1x.
The specifications of the DVD-R/-RW drive are listed in Table 1-5.
