30 Troubleshooting
Troubleshooting
This section picks up troubleshooting from other manuals and describes them collectively.
Network setting checklists
Check if the network setting is correct according to checklists, and then specify the cause of the
error and take an appropriate countermeasure. The checklists are introduced by functions. Look
for a function you are using and refer to the corresponding item in the list. Note that the check-
lists are extracts from the Network Administration Guide for Scanning Functions.
When this equipment cannot be detected over the network, check if the network cable is cor-
rectly connected, and then refer to the following manuals:

File storage
When an error has occurred in the file storage function, check the setting by referring to the list
