Connecting two VCRs
This connection allows you to record (dub/edit) from one VCR to
another VCR while watching a videotape.
–To record one program while watching another, tune VCR1 to the
channel to record, tune VCR2 to the channel to watch, and select
VIDEO 2 on the monitor.
You will need:
one signal splitter
three coaxial cables
three sets of standard A/V cables

Connecting a camcorder
This connection allows you to watch video materials recorded on a camcorder.
You will need:
one set of standard A/V cables

Note:
If you have VCR (VCR1) with S-video, use
S-video cables instead of standard video
cables for better picture performance. Do not
connect both a standard video cable and an
S-video cable to Video-1 (or Video-2) at the
same time or the picture performance will be
unacceptable.
Do not connect the same VCR to the output
and input terminals is on the monitor at the
same time. To dub or edit, VCR 2 must select
Line IN, and the monitor must select VIDEO
1.
*The Video OUT terminal does not output
the POP picture.
** The Audio OUT terminals can output the
sound of either the Main or POP picture
(see “Selecting the Audio OUT sound” on
page 46).

Note:
If you have a camcorder with S-video, use an
S-video cable instead of a standard video
cable for better picture performance. Do not
connect both a standard video cable and an
S-video cable at the same time or the picture
performance will be unacceptable.
