6.6.4 Security: WPA, WPA2, WPA2-MIX
This screen varies depending on the operating mode you select in the Wireless LAN > Wireless
Settings screen.
Data Encryption Select 64-bit WEP or 128-bit WEP to enable data encryption.
Passphrase
Enter the passphrase or string of text used for automatic WEP key generation.
Generate Click this to get the keys from the Passphrase you entered.
Key 1 to
Key 4
The WEP keys are used to encrypt data. Both the NWA1121-NI and the AP must use the
same WEP key for data transmission.
If you chose 64-bit WEP, then enter any 5 ASCII characters or 10 hexadecimal
characters ("0-9", "A-F").
If you chose 128-bit WEP, then enter 13 ASCII characters or 26 hexadecimal
characters ("0-9", "A-F").
You can configure up to four keys, but only one key can be activated at any one time.
IEEE802.1x Authentication
Eap Type The options on the left refer to EAP methods. You can choose either TLS, LEAP, PEAP
or TTLS.
If you select TTLS or PEAP, the options on the right refer to authentication protocols.
You can choose between PAP, CHAP, MSCHAP, MSCHAPv2 and/or GTC.
User Information
Username
Login Name
Supply the user name of the account created in the RADIUS server.
Password Supply the password of the account created in the RADIUS server.
Certificate
User Certificate If you select TLS, enter the name of the certificate used to to verify the identity of
clients.
Back Click Back to return to the previous screen.
Apply Click Apply to save your changes.
Cancel Click Cancel to begin configuring this screen afresh.
