This section describes how to set up your projector and how to connect video and audio sources.
2. Installation and Connections
Setting Up the Screen and the Projector
Selecting a Location
The further your projector is from the screen or wall, the larger the image. The minimum size the image can be is
approximately 30" (0.76 m) measured diagonally when the projector is roughly 47 inches (1.2 m) from the wall or
screen. The largest the image can be is 300" (7.6 m) when the projector is about 480 inches (12.2 m) from the wall or
screen. Use the chart below as a rough guide.
Your projector is simple to set up and use.
But before you get started, you must first:
Set up a screen and the projector.
Connect your computer or video equip-
ment to the projector. See pages 12 to
15.
Connect the supplied power cable. See
page 16.
NOTE: Ensure that the power cable and any other
cables are disconnected before moving the pro-
jector. When moving the projector or when it is
not in use, cover the lens with the lens cap.

NOTE:
The distances are indicated by intermediate values between tele and wide. Use as a rule of thumb.
The Zoom lever adjusts the image size up to +/-10%
For more details on throw distance, see next page.
Changing the image size starts the Auto Focus to adjust the focus; changing the throw angle starts the Auto Keystone to correct
the vertical keystone distortion.
