E.1 FCC Class B Notice - United States only
Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Statements
This device has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant
to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to guarantee this device doesn't harmfully interfere
with, or harmfully be interfered by other devices.
Radio Frequency Interference Statement
Note: this equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device,
pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency
energy. If not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, it may cause interference to radio
communications.
The limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against such interference in a residential
situation. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If
this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be
determined by turning the equipment on and off, the user is encouraged to try correct the interference
by one or more of the following measures:
" Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna of the affected radio or television.
" Increase the separation between the equipment and the affected receiver.
" Connect the equipment and the affected receiver to power outlets on separate circuits.
" Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.
Modifications
The FCC requires the user to be notified that any changes or modifications made to this device that are
not expressly approved by Alcatel may void the user's authority to operate this equipment.
E.2 Canadian DOC Class B Notice
Notification of Canadian RF Interference Statements
This digital apparatus does not exceed the Class B limits for radio noise emissions from digital apparatus
as set out in the radio interference regulations of the Canadian Department of Communication.
