Setting Port Mapping
The Port Mapping feature allows you to specify a range of ports for a specific local machine to
route the packets. The 9950 Cable/ DSL Router allows the user to configure the needed port
mappings to suit such applications for special users. A list of common applications has been
provided in case you need to configure the port mapping for a specific application. If your
application is not listed, you will need to contact the application vendor to find out which port
settings you need.
To configure port mapping, click on Port Mapping under NAT in the Sub Menu.
1. Enter the last digit in the IP field of the local machine
2. Enter a range of port or specify a port number to route the packets
3. Click the box next to
Enable
4. Click Apply
