Remote Console Operation
Overview
Operating the KH0116 from a remote KVM console (up to 150m away), is
accomplished by means of the CE-250 KVM Extender system. The CE-250
system consists of a Remote Module (CE-250R) that connects to a Local
Module (CE-250L) via Cat 5 cabling. Since the CE-250L (the Local Module)
is built into the KH0116, all that is required for Remote Console operation is
the purchase of a CE-250R module.
CE-250R Components

1 LEDs The Remote Module has two LEDs (Power and On Line) to
indicate the operating status of the Local and Remote units.

2 Mouse Port The remote mouse plugs in here
3 Keyboard Port The remote keyboard plugs in here.
4 Monitor Port The remote monitor plugs in here.
5 Remote I/O The Cat 5 cable that connects this unit to the KH0116’s
Remote Console port (the Local Module) plugs in here.
6 Power Jack The cable from the AC power adapter plugs in here.
