2. Installation
Remote Control
Notes on Batteries
Make sure that the polarities are correct when installing the batteries.
Do not mix an old battery with a new one, or mix different types of batteries.
If the remote control will not be used for an extended period of time, remove the batteries to avoid damage
from battery leakage.
Notes on Remote Control Operation
Make sure that there is nothing between the remote control and the IR receiver on the projector that might
obstruct the infrared beam.
The effective range of the remote control is between 8m (from the front of the projector) and 5m (from the
rear of the projector), and within 30 degrees horizontally and 15 degrees vertically.
Projector
Connect the Power Cord
Push on the cover and slide it to open. Install two
AAA batteries with the correct polarity, then
close the cover.
Plug the supplied power cord into the AC inlet on the
rear of this unit.
Turn on the main power switch at the rear of this unit
(next to the AC inlet). The POWER LED will light up
in orange. Press the ON key on the remote control or
STANDBY/ON key on the projector for ONE second
to turn the projector on.
