1 Make sure you have the items shown below
* The printing cartridge is already installed in the machine.
Keep the packing materials for possible future transport. If you do not pack
the machine properly, it could void your warranty.
2 Read the Quick Setup Guide
Follow the instructions on the Brother Quick Setup Guide to set up the machine.
3 Using the telephone
Pick up the handset.
When you hear a dial tone, dial the number, using the dial pad.
To hang up, replace the handset on its cradle.
