Refer to the following diagram examples to confirm the network environment that is
connected to the machine, and then perform the necessary operations for that
environment.
NOTE

For connecting a LAN cable to the machine, see the Set-Up Instructions for Networking
and Printing.
If you connect the machine directly to your computer, use a crossover cable.
