Cisco Unity Voice Messaging
Cisco Unity Voice Messaging offers standalone or networked voice mail to
enterprise-scale organizations. Voice messages are stored on an SPE card in the
Cisco ICS 7750. Voice-messaging capabilities include automated attendant
functionality, intelligent routing, and customizable call screening and message
notification options.
Cisco Unity Voice Messaging is a component of the Cisco Architecture for
Integrated Voice, Video, and Data (AVVID). Cisco Unity Voice Messaging is fully
integrated with Cisco CallManager.
Components
Cisco Unity Voice Messaging includes the components identified in Table 5-3.

Software Package Included with Cisco CallManager 3.1 and higher. Install by using the
Cisco CallManager Extended Services CD.
Software Platform Cisco Customer Response Applications (CRA) Engine and preconfigured
scripts.
Administration Cisco CallManager Administration is used to set up the applications.
