MPLS VPN Core
MPLS provides an efficient mechanism for supporting VPNs, which offer performance guarantees and
security. Using a VPN, customer traffic passes transparently through the Internet in a way that effectively
segregates the storage traffic from other traffic on the backbone network. Figure 4-9 shows a sample
architecture for an MPLS VPN for storage.
