Application Requirements
Before designing a WAN, it is important to understand the requirements of each application and how it
performs on the network. There are numerous applications available; Table 4-2 generalizes some of the
applications. The MAN/WAN should be able to provide the requirements that each application demands
to obtain maximum efficiency.
