Removing the I/O Panel
1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer.
2. During installation or removal of ANY hardware, always ensure all data is backed up properly.
3. Remove the battery, hinge cover, keyboard, optical drive, LCD assembly, and palm rest from the system.
4. Disconnect the I/O panel cable.
5. Remove the screw securing the I/O panel board.
6. Remove the I/O panel board from the system.
