4. Connect the power cable and the serial ATA data cable to the drive.
5. Ensure that all connectors are properly cabled and firmly seated.
6. Slide the drive into place until you feel a click or feel the drive securely installed.
7. Replace the computer cover.
8. Connect your computer and devices to electrical outlets, and turn them on.
