TheEnterasys NAC ControllerpowersuppliesreportinformationtotheNACControllerPEP
installedinthechassisregardingtheirpresentoperatingstatus.Thisinformationincludesthe

•PowerSupplyStatus(normal/fault)
•PowerSupplyRedundancyindication

Auto-Ranging Power Supplies
TheEnterasys NAC Controllerpowersuppliesautomaticallyadjusttotheinputvoltageand
frequency,whichallowsforaninputvoltageof100to240 Vac,andafrequencybetween50and
60 Hz.RefertotheoperatingspecificationsinAppendix A.Noadditionaladjustmentsare

Chassis Cooling System
TheEnterasys Matrix N1chassisbackplanesupportssix2wire12vfans.Generalfanfailureis
detectedatthechassisbackplaneandthestatusisrelayedtothemoduleusingtheFTM2
connector.
ThefanshaveoneLANVIEWLEDlocatedonthefrontoftheunit.ThisLEDindicatesthestatusof
the
fans,eithernormalorfaultcondition.Sincethefansarebuiltintothechassis,thereisno
