Excessive internal
temperature
(overheating)
The lamp goes off automatically and projection
becomes impossible. Wait for approximately 5
minutes with the projector in that state. After 5
minutes has passed, pull out the power plug
once, then insert it again.
If the projector overheats, check the following 2
points and make the necessary improvements.
·Is the projector installed in a place with good
ventilation?
Make sure the air intake and exhaust vents are
not covered, and that it is not placed up against
the wall.
·Has dust accumulated in the air filter?
If the air filter is dirty, clean it.
When the power plug is reinserted, the projector
will recover to the normal state, so press the
power button and turn on the power again. If the
projector overheats again even when the above
measures have been taken, and when an error is
displayed in the indicator when the power is
turned on again, discontinue use, pull the power
plug out of the receptacle and request repairs by
the retail shop where you purchased it, or by the
service office at the nearest address provided on
page 121.
