5.3.4 Configuring the server and installing the operating
system without ServerView Installation Manager

Configure the controller as described in section "Configuring the onboard SATA
controller" on page 46.
Installing the operating system
Ê Insert the DVD for the operating system you want to install.
Ê Reboot the server blade.
Ê Follow the instructions on screen and in the manual for the operating
system.
