Installingth ePCICassette

Caution – DonotforcethePCIcassetteintoaslot.Doingsocancausedamagetothe

cassetteandserver.

1. Alignth ePCIcassetteonthegraypl asti cguide andinstallitinto theslot.

2. Locktheleverintoplacetoseatthecassette.

Note – Astheleverismovedpressurewillbuildup,thenjustpriortolockinginto

placethepr essure willsudden lyrelease.Ifthele verlocksin placewithoutthe

pressurerelease,the cardmaynotbeseatedcorrectly.Ifthishappensthecard

shouldberemovedandreinstalled.

Note – WhenyouinsertthePCIcasse tteusinghot‐swap,thecassetteis

automaticallypoweredonandconfigured.Chec k thatthepowerLEDonthecassette

isLITtobecertainthecassetteiscorrectlyseated.

3. ConnectallcablestothePCIcassetteandreconnectth ecablemanagementarmif

necessary.
