M5000family:
SEFRCDB1S FSC SPARC Enterprise M5000 COD (Capacity On Demand) server.
Includes 8x 2.15GHz CPUs (4 CPU boards with 2 x CPUs each, 5MB on-
chip L2 cache) and 64GB system memory (4 memory modules with 8 x
2GB DDR2 DIMMs), 4 x 73GB SAS hard disks, 1 DVD-ROM,
2x 1Gb Ethernet ports, 2 I/O trays with 8 PCI-E and 2 PCI-X slots total,
4 power supplies (includes redundancy and DPF).
As minimum to each COD System 2 RTU (Right To Use) licenses are
required (must be ordered together with the system)!

M5000 family:
SELX9RU1S FSC SPARC Enterprise Server COD 2.0 Right-To-Use (RTU) license for
one Capacity-on-Demand (COD) CPU, for use with SPARC Enterprise
M4000 and M5000 servers.
CoD RTU license for
1 CPU (FF model)
Note to COD:
COD Licenses are automatically arranged by the service processor (XSCF) (see also: Server Administration Guide).
Licenses can only manually be assigned to domains, but not to hardware components like CPU.
If licenses are manually assigned to domains, the licenses will be automatically arranged to the CPU’s of this domain,
first CPU gets first license which is assigned for this domain, second CPU gets second license and so on.
If there is only one big domain, the arrangement is the same: First CPU gets first license which is assigned for this
domain, second CPU gets second license and so on.
Result for M5000: To use the second system-board in one big domain over the complete system a minimum of 5
licenses is necessary!
In addition the “Note to Memory ordering” is also permissible for COD server!
