Remove the thermal interface protective cover from the heatsink.
CAUTION: Heatsink retaining screws should be tightened in diagonally opposite pairs (in an
"X" pattern).
IMPORTANT: When installing the heatsink, align the guide pins on the processor retention
bracket with the alignment holes in the heatsink.

Install the heatsink.
4.
Install the front panel/hard drive cage assembly ("Front panel/hard drive cage assembly" on page
33), if removed.
5.
Install the SAS controller ("SAS controller" on page 29), if removed.
6.
Install the hard drives ("Hard drive" on page 25), if removed.
7.
Install the access panel ("Access panel" on page 24).
