Paper use
This product is suited for the use of recycled paper according to DIN 19309.
Plastics
Plastic parts over 25 grams are marked according to international standards that enhance the ability to
identify plastics for recycling purposes at the end of the product's life.

Recycling program
HP offers an increasing number of product return and recycling programs in many countries, as well as
partnering with some of the largest electronic recycling centers throughout the world. HP also conserves
resources by refurbishing and reselling some of its most popular products.
This HP product contains the following materials that may require special handling at end-of-life:
•Mercury in the fluorescent lamp in the scanner (<2 mg)
•Lead in the solder
•A lithium battery
This product contains a small Lithium battery that must be removed and disposed of properly at the end of the
