Installing software
To install software applications, go to the Software section of the Software and
Users Guide Super CD. You can install up to four applications for use with the
Multi-Burner: Multimedia Center for Think Offerings, WinDVD, and WinDVD
Creator. Drag and Drop (DLA) is installed automatically as part of the Multimedia
Center.
A separate menu item exists to install the UDF reader for using Multi-Burner
created DLA discs in other computers. Do not install the UDF reader into the PC
with the Multi-Burner.
WinDVD and WinDVD Creator require DirectX 8.1 or higher. DirectX is included
in Windows XP and Windows 2000, so no install is required for those operating
systems. A menu choice exists to install DirectX separately if you are using an
older operating system.
Watching DVD videos
You can use your Multi-Burner to watch DVD movies on most systems. To use the
DVD Video playback function, you need to set up your computer as follows after
installing the Super Multi-Burner Ultrabay Enhanced Drive into the Ultrabay
enhanced drive bay:
1. Update your OS components.
2. Enable the DMA setting.
3. Set the Region Code.
4. View a movie with WinDVD.
