4.3 Configuring by Terminal Program via Console Cable
The console configuration can be used when the user cannot access the AcerRouter
101/201 from network.
This section explains how to configure and use a Terminal program. The terminal
communications program provided with Windows 95 is called “ HyperTerminal” . Please
configure as instructed below:
1. Power off the AcerRouter 101/201. Connect the AcerRouter 101/201’
s serial port
directly to your PC’ s serial port using the enclosed serial cable.
2. Configure your terminal emulation program. Find the HyperTerminal program as
