3. FEATURE menu
You can select CINEMA MODE only when the input signal is a TV60, TV50, 480i, or 576i video signal.
Menu option Setting Feature description
ASPECT
NORMAL
Automatically sets the aspect ratio in relative to the input signal. Use
this setting for most cases.
16:9
Selects a desired screen position for anamorphically squeezed or hor-
izontally compressed images stored on DVD disks. You can select
from CENTER, UPPER, and LOWER by pressing the ENTER button.
FULL Select this setting when you want to project images in the full screen.
PASSWORD FUCNTION Use this setting to activate or deactivate the password lock.
MENU POSITION 2 options Use this setting to change the position of the menu on the screen.
CINEMA MODE AUTO/OFF
Select Auto to automatically activate the film mode when the input
video signal is a video signal from a film.
VIDEO SIGNAL 8 options
Select Auto to automatically set the appropriate video format in rela-
tive to the input signal. If projected images aren't displayed correctly,
select a desired video format manually.
WXGA
OFF/AUTO/1280 x 768/
1280 x 768RB/
1360 x 768/ 1366 x 768
Select the appropriate format when the input signal is a WXGA video
signal and the "AUTO" mode does not display images properly.
Select "OFF" when the input signal is other than a WXGA video sig-
nal.
SETUP
AUTO Select this setting to automatically change the SETUP mode.
OFF
Select this setting to increase the density of black. Use this setting
when images are dark.
3.75%/7.5%
Select this setting to lower the density of black.
When 7.5% is set, the brightness is decreased by the setup can-
cel function for the U.S.
LANGUAGE 12 languages Selects a desired language for the menu.
RESET ALL OK
Resets all menu settings except for PASSWORD FUNCTION and
LANGUAGE to the default.
