Table 3-1. Standard MIBs Supported by the RAC
Most parameters do not map to standard MIB objects. Instead, they map to MIB
objects in a proprietary (or private enterprise) MIB specific to the RAC and other
Remote Annexes. The private MIB also contains objects that provide status and
statistics information to the network manager (see Chapter 4, “Call
Management.”)
MIB Object Hierarchy
MIBs define the hierarchy of managed objects. MIB objects represent data that the
RAC can retrieve or configuration information that it can modify.

1850 OSPF MIB Used to configure and monitor the OSPF process
running on a RAC. RFC 1850 includes two files,
rfc1850a
and
rfc1850b
.
rfc1850a
contains MIB
definitions, and
rfc1850b
contains OSPF trap
definitions.
Note: There are other settable MIB objects included in the standard MIBs
supported by the SNMP agent. The read-only objects defined in the various
MIBs allow the SNMP management station to monitor many MIB variables.
