Set the Auto Answer Mode to FWD
1 Press Menu/Exit to enter the menu.
2 Press ᮢ to select Setup, press Enter.
3 Press ᮢ to select Machine Settings, press Enter.
4 Press ᮢ to select Auto Answer mode, press Enter.
5 Press ᮢ to select FWD, press Enter.
6 Press Menu/Exit to return to standby mode.
Clear Forwarding Mode
1 Press Menu/Exit to enter the menu.
2 Press ᮢ to select Setup, press Enter.
3 Press ᮢ to select Machine Settings, press Enter.
4 Press ᮢ to select Auto Answer mode, press Enter.
5 Press ᮢ to select Fax: Auto Receive Mode.
Press Enter.
6 Press Menu/Exit to return to standby mode.

Messages received while the machine was set to forward
will still forward.
Forward on Paper/Toner Error
Your machine can provide a backup in case it runs out of
toner or paper.
When a Paper/Toner Error forwarding number is programmed,
and your machine runs out of paper or toner, any faxes
received are forwarded to the programmed number.
Forward on Paper/Toner will not work if the machine is set for
· Forwarding Mode (FWD)
· Manual Receive Mode (TEL)
· Memory Reception Mode (MEM)
Setting a Paper/Toner Error Forwarding Number
1 Press Menu/Exit to enter the menu.
2 Press ᮢ or ᮡ to select Location Program, press Enter.
3 Press ᮢ to select Forward on P-ERR, press Enter.
4 Enter the telephone number (up to 40 characters (0-9, *,
#, +, Pause, Hyphen, Space), press Enter.
5 Press Menu/Exit to return to standby mode.

Polled or confidential faxes cannot be forwarded.
