u MAC Address Filter: It enables the AP to control the network access by MAC address
filtering of the wireless clients.
Ø Filter Type: There are three options- Disable, Accept and Reject. Disable makes
you turn off the MAC address filter function. Accept means only wireless stations
with the MAC addresses preconfigured on the below list will be granted access.
Reject signifies only wireless stations with the MAC addresses preconfigured in the
below list will be denied access. After finishing the setting, press the “Apply” button
to make the new setting into effect.
Ø Filter MAC Address: The MAC address is a 12-digit hexadecimal value, a unique
identification for network devices. There are fifteen sets of MAC address which can
be preconfigured in each field of the list. Enter the MAC addresses of the wireless
stations you want to grant or deny access by the AP.
u Bridge Adapter: The wireless stations connected to the AP can access the wired network
through the bridge adapter. You can select the Ethernet adapter in the list as a bridge
between the wireless and wired networks.
