Relay Broadcast
The FO-5700 can also act as a relay station. It will receive a document
from a fax machine requesting a relay transmission, and automatically
broadcast it to the stations that the requesting machine specifies.
To enable a fax machine to request a relay transmission, you must first
enter its fax number in the Relay Passcode List. Follow the steps
below to enter or clear a fax number.
♦ When your fax receives a relay request from another fax machine,
RCVD RELAY REQUEST will appear in the display.
♦ If the telephone billing function is turned on, the fax machine can-
not act as a relay station.
♦ To clear a fax number from the Relay Passcode List, you need to
know the 2-digit number which identifies it. You can check this
number by printing out the Passcode List (see Chapter 7).
