58 Section 3C: Changing the Settings of Sprint PCS Connection Manager
Settings Window
From the Settings window, you can specify the settings for Sprint PCS Connection
Manager.
1. In Sprint PCS Connection Manager, click Menu.
2. Select Settings.
3. From the drop-down list, select one of the following categories of settings:
Ⅲ General (general behavior of Sprint PCS Connection Manager)
Ⅲ Sprint PCS Vision - Sierra Wireless (behavior of your Sprint Power Vision/
Sprint PCS Vision connection)
Ⅲ Optimization (bandwidth optimization level used by your Sprint Power
Vision/Sprint PCS Vision connection)
4. Make the appropriate changes to the settings (described in the following
pages).
5. To change other settings, repeat steps 3 and 4.
6. Click OK.
Note:
Temporarily unavailable, if you have powered off the device (page 40).
Note:
Changes to the setting Launch Connection Manager automatically apply only
after you restart Windows. Changes to the setting Start in system tray apply
only after you exit and restart Sprint PCS Connection Manager.
Tip:
You can also access the Settings window from the Connection History
window: click File > Settings.
