Do not use cut or damaged connection cables.
Your computer cannot be connected to a coin-operated telephone, and may not work with a private
branch exchange (PBX).
If the computer is brought directly from a cold location to a warm one, moisture may condense inside
your computer. In this case, allow at least one hour before turning on your computer. If any problem
occurs, unplug your computer and contact VAIO-Link.
Make sure to disconnect the power cord before cleaning the computer.
On handling diskettes
Do not open the shutter manually and touch the surface of the diskette.
Keep diskettes away from magnets.
Keep diskettes away from direct sunlight and other heat sources.
On handling CD-ROM disks
Do not touch the surface of the disk.
Do not drop or bend the disk.
Fingerprints and dust on the surface of a disk may cause read errors. Proper care of the disk is essential
to maintain its reliability. Do not use solvents such as benzine, thinner, commercially available cleaners
or anti-static spray, as they may cause damage to the disk.
For normal cleaning, hold the disk by its edge and use a soft cloth to wipe the surface from the center
out.
If the disk is badly soiled, moisten a soft cloth with water, wring it out well, and use it to wipe the surface
of the disk from the center out. Wipe off any remaining moisture with a dry soft cloth.
