Inserting a Memory Stick

To insert a Memory Stick

, proceed as follows:
1 Insert it into the slot until the Memory Stick™ (1) is fixed into the connector.
2 To confirm that the Memory Stick
TM
media is inserted properly, check the Removable Disk (S:) drive:
On the desktop, double-click My Computer.
Make sure that the Removable Disk (S:) icon is displayed in the window.
Double-click Removable Disk (S:) to display the contents of the Memory Stick™ media.

Hold the Memory Stick

media with the arrow pointing in the correct direction when you insert it into the slot. To avoid damaging the computer or
the Memory Stick
TM
media, do not force the Memory Stick
TM
media into the slot if it does not insert smoothly.
