Removing a Memory Stick

To remove a Memory Stick™, proceed as follows:
1 Make sure that the Memory Stick™ media access indicator (1) is off.
2 When the Memory Stick
TM
comes out, pull it out.
Push the Memory Stick™ media eject button (2).
3 When the button comes out, push the eject button again and remove the Memory Stick™ media.
Always remove the Memory Stick
TM
gently, or it may pop out unexpectedly.
It is recommended to remove the Memory Stick
TM
before shutting down the computer.
! To prevent the possible loss of data, do not remove a Memory Stick
TM
media when the Memory Stick
TM
media access light is on. Large image files
require more time to store on a Memory Stick
TM
media, so always check the Memory Stick
TM
media access indicator and make sure that it is off before
you remove the Memory Stick
TM
media.
