Note:.
Creating a RAID 0, 1, 0+1 array on IDE3/IDE4 is possible
Creating a RAID 0, 1 array on SATA1/SATA2 is possible.
Creating a RAID 0, 1 array on SATA3/SATA4 is possible.
Parallel ATA connectors
Connect the black end of the ATA66/100/133 flat cable to the IDE device
(HDD or CD-ROM) and plug the blue end to the primary (IDE1, IDE3) or
secondary (IDE2) directionally keyed IDE connector on the Motherboard.
The ATA66/100/133 cable is backward compatible with ATA33 HDDs.
Serial ATA connectors
You can also plug the serial ATA cable into the serial ATA connector of the
motherboard. The other end of the SATA cable goes into your SATA device.
