Power and Power-Up Modes
Power indicator
Check the Power indicator to determine the power status:
Battery types
The computer has two types of batteries:
■ Battery packs
■ High Capacity battery pack (8800mAh)
■ Battery pack (4400mAh)
■ Real Time Clock (RTC) battery
High Capacity battery pack
An optional High Capacity battery is installable instead of a main battery.
The capacity of High Capacity battery is approximately double the capacity
of main battery. The connection method for the High Capacity battery is the
same as for the main battery.
High Capacity battery pack
Green
Indicates power is being supplied to the computer
and the computer is turned on.
Blinking orange
Indicates power is being supplied to the computer
while the computer is in Standby Mode. The
indicator turns on for one second and off for two
seconds.
No light
Under any other conditions, the indicator does
not light.
