HW Setup and Passwords
You can override the settings and manually select a boot device by
pressing one of the following keys while the computer is booting:

*In this computer, CD-ROM refers to the fixed optical media drive.
To change the boot drive, follow the steps below.
1. Hold down F12 and boot the computer.
2. The following menu will be displayed with the following icons: Built-in
hard disk drive, CD-ROM, FDD, Network (LAN), PC (ATA) card boot.
U Selects the USB diskette drive.
N Selects the network.
1 Selects the primary hard disk drive.
P Selects the PC Card hard disk drive.
C Selects the CD-ROM*.
PC Card hard disk drive boot is supported only by slot 0 on the
computer. Support is guaranteed only for TOSHIBA PC Card hard disk
drives.
When you assign a PC Card hard disk drive top priority, “PC” is not
displayed. However, the PC Card hard disk drive takes the position of
hard disk drive in the Boot Priority Options list above.
A bar will appear only under the selected device.
