User Manager
The User Manager dialog is used to manage user profiles.
• A maximum of 64 user profiles can be created.
• To add a user, fill in the information asked for in the User Info dialog box and Click Add.
• To delete a user profile, select it and Click Remove.
• To modify a user profile, select it; change the information shown in the User Info dialog box;
and Click Update.
• The Reset button clears all the information shown in the User Info dialog box.
An explanation of the profile items is given in the table below:
Username A minimum of 6 and a maximum of 15 characters are allowed.
Password A minimum of 8 and a maximum of 15 characters are allowed.
Confirm You are asked to enter the password twice to ensure that the intended pass
word has been entered. The two entries must match.
Description Use to store additional information about the user that you may wish to
include.
Permissions By default, all users may access the B014-000 via the Windows Client
software.
1. Checking Configure gives a User administrator privileges, allowing him to
set up and modify the B014-000's operating environment.
2. Checking Java client allows a User to access the B014-000 via the Java
Client software.
