4. Plug the power adapter into an AC (wall) outlet.
The power-on light on the front of the scanner comes on indicating
the scanner is receiving power.
The following diagram shows the cable connections to a computer
with a USB port.
5. A progress dialog will appear saying the USB scanner has been
found.
Note: The power-on light remains lit when the computer is turned
off. This is normal even though the computer is turned off.
