5.3 One phase mains connector
5.3.1 Preparation for the one phase mains connector
Before starting the connection tasks check that:
♦ the values of the mains voltage (input voltage) and
frequency complies with the values on the label on the
UPS,
♦ the grounding connection complies with the IEC norms
or with the regional regulations,
♦ the UPS is connected to the mains via a separate and
fused line in a preswitched NS distribution,
♦ the prefuse or the power fuse in the NS distribution has
the same or higher value as indicated on the label on
the rear of the UPS appliance,
♦ the connection line from the prefuse to the UPS has to
have a minimal diameter as defined in table 1:

The UPS carries high voltage. The unit may only
be installed or opened by trained and qualified
personnel. Repairs may only be carried out by
qualified customer service staff!
