1. Tx Preamble Type
The Tx Preamble Type allows you to limit the data packet size during transmission. By default,
the PL9550-WAP is configured to Long preamble.
2. Beacon Interval
Beacon Interval is used to keep power management in check. For example, if a client does
not receive a beacon within a certain time period, it goes to sleep. You can set the Beacon
Interval value from 1 to 65536, but too low or too high value is not recommended. The
default Beacon Interval is set to 100.
3. RTS Threshold
The purpose of RTS Threshold is to minimize collisions among hidden stations. The RTS
Threshold range can be configured between 0 to 2312 bytes. By default, the PL9550-WAP is
set to 2312.
4. Fragmentation Threshold
Fragmentation Threshold determines the size of the packet that will be transmitted in
fragments. It is recommended to fragment the packet when the link quality is bad. The
Fragmentation Threshold can be configured between 256 to 2312 bytes. The default is 2312.
