Broadcast Server User Guide
The media list includes these sections:
• System Images – graphics used internally by Broadcast Server
(available to the system administrator only)
• Shared Images – graphics available to Broadcast Server users
• My Images – graphics that are owned by the current user
• Other Users’ Images – graphics owned by all other Broadcast Server
users (available to the system administrator only)
• Audio – audio clips used internally by Broadcast Server (available to
the system administrator only)
• My Audio – audio clips used internally by Broadcast Server (available
to the system administrator only)
Note While all sections are visible to the Administrator user, regular Broadcast
Server users are restricted to Shared Images and My Images only. In
addition, only the administrator can see the Owner column.
System media
Broadcast Server is installed with some system media items, including an
audio clip used for notifying subscribers of priority alerts.
Note You can change the system media items (except the Broadcast Server logo)
but you cannot delete them, share them, or change their ownership.
Icon Description
The media item has been deactivated. Users will not be
able to use the item in an alert.
Click this icon to change ownership of the media item
(administrator only).
