4 To release the keyboard from the palmrest assembly, use a small, flat-
blade screwdriver or plastic scribe to pull up on the scalloped edge of
the blank key on the keyboard.
NOTE: Removing the center control cover provides more room to free the
keyboard.

Lift the keyboard straight up until it clears the keyboard boss support
in the bottom case assembly.
6 Rotate the keyboard forward toward the front of the computer.
7 Rest the key face of the keyboard on the palmrest.
