Removing the Coin-cell Battery
1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer.
2. Remove:
a. battery
b. bottom cover
3. Perform the following steps to remove the coin-cell battery:
a. Peel away the double-stick adhesive tape.
b. Disconnect the coin-cell battery cable from the system board. [1]
c. Lift and remove the coin-cell battery from the computer. [2]

1. Align the coin-cell battery into its position on the computer, adhering it to the chassis wall.
2. Install the coin-cell battery connector to its slot on the system board.
3. Install:
a. bottom cover
b. battery
