2.6 Port Mirroring Configuration
The port mirroring is a method for monitor traffic in switched
networks. Traffic through ports can be monitored by one specific
port. That is, traffic goes in or out monitored ports will be
duplicated into monitoring port.
Press Space key to change configure of each item.
1.Select <Edit>.
2.Sniffer Mode: Press Space key to set sniffer mode:
Disable\Rx\Tx\Both.
3.Monitoring Port: It means sniffer port can be used to see all
monitor port traffic. Press Space key to choose it.
4.Monitored Port: The ports you want to monitor. All monitor
port traffic will be copied to sinffer port. You can select max
25 monitor ports in the switch. You can choose which port
want to be monitored in only one sniffer mode.
Press Space key to choose member port,
“V” – is the member,
“—“ – not the member.
5.Press Ctrl+A go back action menu line
6.Select <Save> to save all configure value.
7.On the action menu line you can press <Next Page> to
configure port9 ~ port26, press <Previous Page> return to last
page.
NOTE: Only have one sniffer mode in this switch at the same
time.
