6 Front Panel Indicators
The faceplate of the AMC-S402 module has three LED indicators. The figure and table that
follows describes the function of each.

On Management power available to the module
and the module can safely be extracted
Off The module is operational and is unsafe for
extraction
Long Blink Delay before module is activated
Hot Swap (HS) BLUE
Short Blink Delay before module is de-activated
On Module Fault set by Shelf manager or
12V payload power not detected.
Fault or “Out of Service” (OOS) RED
Off No module fault
12V payload power is being supplied to board
On 12V payload power is being supplied to board
Blink Indicates SAS disk I/O activity
Module In Service (IS) GREEN
Off 12V payload power is not detected
