TX120 Operating Manual 53
6 Property and data protection
6.1 Mechanical access protection
The lock and drive cover can be used to restrict access to the On/Off button and
the drives.
To prevent it being removed from its location, the server can be secured to a
fixed object with a steel cable running through a clip on the back.
6.2 BIOS Setup security functions
The Security menu in the BIOS Setup provides you with various options for
protecting your data from unauthorized access. It allows you to assign access
passwords, or to prevent disks from being written or the BIOS from being
overwritten. By combining these options you can achieve optimum protection for
your system.
I A detailed description of the Security menu and how to assign passwords
can be found in the “BIOS Setup” documentation on the PRIMERGY
ServerBooks DVD (see also “Literature” on page 77).
